To make your adventure unforgettable, here are some fishing gear suggestions!

CASTING FISHING

Rod: Class up to 15/30 lbs, between 5.4 to 6.0 feet, and Action: medium/fast.
Fishing Line: Braided line class between 50 to 65 lbs, of good to excellent quality, and 60/70 lbs fluorocarbon leader.
Reel: Low-profile reel, capacity of 110 to 120 m of braided line of 50/65 lbs.
Spinning Reel: Good quality for casting, capacity of 80 to 120 m of braided line of 50/65 lbs.
Artificial Lure: Mid-water lures of 9 to 14 cm, Zara type lures, propeller artificial lures, jigs with hair and feathers, among other similar ones, all with reinforced rings and hooks (minimum 3X).
Snap and Ring: Preferably from reputable brands, capacity between 65 and 100 lb.
Treble Hook: VMC, Owner, Marine, and Mustad. All above 3X and compatible with the replaced size.

BOTTOM FISHING (CATFISH)

Rod:Class up to 80/100 lbs, size of 6.0 feet, and action: medium/heavy.
Line:Monofilament 0.80 to 0.90 mm or braided line class between 80 to 100 lbs, and in this case, use a 100 lbs fluorocarbon leader.
Reel:High-profile for heavy fishing, ideal capacity of 150 to 200 m of line.
Spinning Reel:For heavy fishing, with a capacity of 150 to 200 m of line.
Sinker:Drop or ball type, weighing between 40 to 60 gr.
Hook:Size 8/0 or 9/0 from Mustad or similar, with a steel leader.
Note: In the case of Peacock Bass fishing with live bait, it is mandatory to use a circular hook number 6/0, 8/0, or 10/0.
